As part of Dentsu Aegis’ focus to drive an agile talent strategy and share thought leadership around this key business priority, DAN Canada CEO Annette Warring and Chief Talent Officer John Stockwell recently hosted an executive seminar for twelve Chief Human Resource Officers from some of the top organizations in the country, including American Express Canada, Manulife and Rogers.
The Dentsu Aegis Network Colloquium, hosted last week at DentsuBos’ offices, centered on the theme of Agile Working and Talent. The seminar focused on the competitive advantage behind organizational agility in a now more complex, dynamic and competitive business environment. John presented an employee experience centered framework where the cultural, physical and technological environments work together to empower, engage and enable people to perform optimally.
Annette spoke to the group about the DAN journey and the defining role that people play in our business strategy. She shared the three key driving forces for Dentsu Aegis that are pushing us to redefine what leadership excellence means: one, becoming a 100% digital economy business; two, scaling the organization from a 30,000 people business today into a 70,000+ people business in 2020, with 5 billion GBP revenue; and three, activating our business through the rollout of OM2.
One of the key takeaways from the seminar was that the current disruptive and volatile environment presents an opportunity for organizations to influence their transformation. For that transformation to be successful, people should be at the heart of the business strategy.
